That grief & every cog within this huge machine we term as Chronic Depression must be pigeon holed into its sequential stage & accepted until we get to progress upon the next level of adjustment. The process has immense merit & is crucial to surviving a persons likelihood of ever resuming what is left of their lives - a semblance of normality… “It’s cool to cry”. As a man who cries daily, not only because I care for the kindest, most vulnerable people in our society - including end of life patients, but because my marriage also ended one week prior to Christmas 2023. I wear this message, not only because I, myself, live these words, but it is so important for people who pass you by to read & reflect on these sage words.
